The Guardian, LLC is a for-profit agency credentialed by Advanced Behavioral Health (ABH) to provide supervised visitation for children transitioning to family reunification, as well as transportation for the children. We are also credentialed for Support Staff.
At TG we are dedicated to children and their families and helping them come together in healthy loving ways that encourage growth in both the parent and the child. At TG we try to instill the core values and skills that every parent needs but may not possess to build a lasting and beneficial relationship with their child. We are here to help parents and children learn to deal and cope with any struggles we all have family life.
How We Work
The Guardian, LLC works in conjunction with DCF or private clientele throughout the State of Connecticut, to hold Supervised Visitations for children who are in placement and are heading towards reunifications with their parents/families. The way TG receives these referrals is through formal form that needs to be filled out by the social worker/case worker or private referrer. Once TG receives the referral, we take the initiate to contact the client and set up the appropriate visit schedule per any specific request.
Amongst Supervised Visits, TG also offers Mentoring services for children who may need extra encouragement. The mentoring series offer much enrichment and social skills to many children.
Also, Parent mentoring services for parents that may need a few key points to refine parenting techniques.
